Split a trip into two or three groups for a few days, each with its own hotel, golf and plans. Each traveller pays for their own part, and the client still gets one trip proposal.
Eight golfers arrive in the Costa Brava for a week.
For the first three days, four stay at Camiral and play there. The other four head to Peralada, stay at the hotel by the course and play a different programme. On day four, everyone meets again at Camiral for the rest of the week.
It is a normal golf week, and a hard one to put into software built for one group doing one thing at a time.
Until now, you handled it with separate proposals, notes on who was where, or an average package price, even when the travellers paid different amounts. Rooms, bookings and the rooming list then had to be kept in line by hand.
RoundPlan now lets you split the group for part of the trip, and it stays one trip.
With Split the group, you divide a run of days into two or three groups and choose who goes in each one.
On those days the itinerary shows one column per group. Each group has its own golf, restaurants, transfers and activities, and Together holds whatever the whole group does.

Each group can stay at its own hotel. If two groups follow different plans but sleep in the same place, they share one hotel booking, and a couple can share a room even when they are in different groups.
That covers golfers and non-golfers who split up during the day, a large group that needs tee times at two courses, or part of the party moving to another resort for a few nights.
Each traveller pays for their own nights, golf and extras. If one group's hotel or course costs more, their price goes up by that amount instead of disappearing into an average.
Overview and the client page show a Price per person, by group. The groups add up to the trip total, which the Group total card shows traveller by traveller.

The client still gets one trip proposal. On split days they see each group in its own column, with its people, hotel and plans.

Behind the scenes, Bookings and the rooming list follow the same split: Camiral gets one rooming list for the nights only the Camiral group sleeps there and another for the nights everyone does.
Before you split a trip, add the travellers' names. You can split by numbers without them, but prices by group need everyone assigned to a group.
